Allieu Vandi Koroma is an Irish Fellow. He holds a postgraduate degree in law from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a double Bachelor’s Degree with honors in politics and law from Fourah Bay College (FBC), University of Sierra Leone.

Biography

Allieu Vandi Koroma is an Irish Fellow. He holds a postgraduate degree in law from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a double Bachelor’s Degree with honors in politics and law from Fourah Bay College (FBC), University of Sierra Leone. He is a State Attorney in the Attorney-General’s office in Sierra Leone and an Associate Lecturer at Njala University.
Mr. Koroma has served in several capacities in football administration including as General Secretary of One Big Family, a former non-division side in Freetown and as Legal Adviser of Nepean Stars, a Bo-based first-division club. He also served as Games Captain of Bai Bureh Hall during his student days at FBC. Until his appointment, he provided legal and technical advice to the Executive Chairman of Bo Rangers, one of the leading premier football clubs in the country. He is currently the Chairman of Markiana Football Club, a second-division club based in Freetown.
As Chairman of the PLB, he participated in the first CAF Regional Workshop on Safety and Security organized in cooperation with FIFA in Cairo, Egypt (Virtual). He is the first to be reappointed Chairman of the PLB and the first to organize an 18-team premier league in the history of elite football competition in the country.
